When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the information displayed in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection purposes. An anonymized string derived from your email address (known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you have an account there. You can review Gravatar’s privacy policy here. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, please refrain from including images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract any location information from images posted on the site.

If you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience. This means you won’t need to re-enter your details for future comments. These cookies will be stored for one year.

When you access our login page, a temporary cookie is created to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and will be deleted when you close your browser.

Upon logging in, several cookies are set to save your login details and display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, while screen option cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.
